Several armoured vehicles built by the defence arm of the Alsace-based Lohr group will be parading down the Champs-Élysées on 14 July. These include the Centaures, which have recently been fitted out for the national gendarmerie.
The last Centaure armoured vehicle left the Duppigheim factory in October 2024 for the French West Indies at the beginning of the year. In total, Soframe, Lohr’s subsidiary dedicated to the defence industry, has delivered 90 vehicles to the gendarmerie, a contract awarded by the Ministry of the Interior in 2021.
