It replaces the VBRG (gendarmerie wheeled armoured vehicle), which has been in use for almost 50 years. The Centaure is gradually coming into service. 30 of its vehicles are destined for the Île-de-France region. We report from the Groupement blindé de gendarmerie mobile (GBGM) at Satory, where soldiers are discovering this new technology-packed piece of equipment.
