Ground robotics, a card to play in the UAE and France for Soframe

Well-known for its armored vehicles, Soframe is also pursuing a two-pronged effort in land robotics. Its Fardier Mk II has attracted the attention of the Emirati army, a prospecting exercise begun at a time when the French need is reflected in the launch of a program to acquire heavy robots for the engineering corps.

Interest confirmed in the Emirates
Four wheels, an impressive robotic arm and a French earthy brown livery: it’s hard to miss this “Made in France” robot taking pride of place in the middle of the IDEX trade show held this week in Abu Dhabi. Unveiled at last year’s Eurosatory show and exhibited abroad for the first time this week, the Fardier Mk II combines mobility, versatility and modularity to meet a wide range of operational needs.
