Deliveries of the Gendarmerie’s new armoured vehicles, the “Centaure”, are proceeding apace, with all 90 units scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2024. It is at Duppigheim in Alsace, in the workshops of the French company Soframe, that the Gendarmerie’s multipurpose intervention vehicle (VIPG) is being built. We take you on an exclusive tour of this factory, where around ten of these French vehicles are produced every month, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
